Signal gets dragged into Twitter and Elon Musk catfight. Verdict in a few days

As we edge closer to the court hearing of the Twitter and Elon Musk case, popular social media application Signal gets involved
Twitter and Elon Musk

The plot in Twitter and Elon Musk’s drama thickens as a third party gets dragged onto the scene. Since Musk pulled out of his initial purchase of the social media platform, both parties have not ceased from trading blames. Musk began the blame game by pointing out the presence of bot accounts, while Twitter decried plummeting stocks.

In a bid to resolve the issues, the Tesla CEO got access to the internal records of Twitter. Still, this didn’t make him continue with his intended purchase, moving Twitter to request access to his messages. This request from Twitter came after a unanimous decision to force the billionaire to continue with the deal.

Getting access to Musk’s private messages has revealed that messaging application Signal is interwoven in the now doubtful business deal between Twitter and Elon Musk. Twitter’s lawyers claim to have uncovered a chat between Musk and some co-investors made via the Signal application.

According to Twitter lawyers, the chat had a bearing on the buyout deal and will be crucial to closing this case. Signal is an end-to-end secure messaging platform free from public manipulation concerning this case. For some reason, Musk and his lawyers are stalling to provide information regarding this Signal chat only days away from the five-day court hearing which could bring this entire saga to an end.

The trial can go in favour of either party, and both are working hard to win in court. Will we see a new Twitter owner at the end of the trial, or will things go back to the way they were?
