Former India cricketer Amit Mishra has been very active on social media of late, and he keeps his fans and followers entertained with his fun, quirky and sarcastic takes on various topics revolving around the game. Very recently, he shared Suresh Raina’s video praising him for a catch that the all-rounder took while playing for the India Legends in the semi-final game of the Road Safety World Series 2022.

Mishra was all praises for Raina, who showed a brilliant fielding performance on Wednesday, which was nostalgic for many. It looked like he was never out of the game, and displayed his flex beautifully by picking up a stunning catch to dismiss the Australia batter. Mishra shared a video of the same as wrote:

“Bhai @imraina, can I borrow your Time Machine? It’s mesmerizing to see you field like old times.”

A Twitter user randomly commented on Mishra’s tweet and asked him to send 300 rupees as he wanted to take his girlfriend out on a date. He also shared his UPI ID by commenting on Mishra’s tweet on Thursday, September 29. Within just a few minutes, Mishra transferred 500 rupees into the user’s account and shared a screenshot of the same on Twitter, captioning it: “Done, all the best for your date.”

Mishra concered over India's bowling at death

Earlier, Mishra had expressed concern over India’s death bowling, even after some tremendous show by Arshdeep Singh and Deepak Chahar in the first T20I against South Africa. The bowlers beautifully manged to keep the Proteas batters in check, but went on to concede runs in the death overs. Mishra lauded the bowling efforts, but also mentioned that India’s bowling in the death is still problematic.

“A great collective bowling effort by our team but death bowling still remains a headache for us. Let’s hope we tick all the boxes before the T20 world cup,” Mishra had said.
