Channel 5 have confirmed that Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen and her family will work with the television network on a number of new programmes.

Amanda announced that she and her husband of 22 years, Clive Owen, were parting ways in June. While they are no longer a couple viewers are now left wondering what will happen with their family show.

The Yorkshire shepherdess recently hinted at some ‘exciting’ upcoming projects but remained tight-lipped on what exactly viewers can expect.

She continued: "Well, there's all kinds of up-and-coming projects that I obviously have to remain firmly quiet about."

Channel 5 have said there is no update on when season six of Our Yorkshire Farm will return however, confirmed that the Owen family are “hugely important” to the network as they revealed that they will continue to work with them on a number of new shows.

A Channel 5 representative told YorkshireLive: “No news to share at present regarding season six - obviously there is a little ambiguity about what guise the series might take following the couple’s split earlier in the year.

“However, what I can say with absolute certainty is that Amanda, Clive and the whole of the Owen clan are hugely important to the Channel 5 family and we are continuing to work with both on a number of new programmes to be announced in due course.”
