A12-year-old girl who was reported missing from her home in Bradford has been found safe and well.

Officers described Millie Fawthrop as a white female, who is 5ft 3in tall, of slim build with mid-length brown hair. Around the time of her disappearance, she was said to have been wearing black leggings, black trainers and a black jacket.

Millie was had last been seen around 9pm last night (Wednesday, October 5) in Bradford. Police added that it was thought that she may be in Peel Park or Bradford city centre. However, they have now confirmed she has been found safe.

According to the charity missingpeople.org.uk, somebody is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK, equating to a total of 170,000 people. Of that number, more than 70,000 are children and almost 98,000 are adults.

The charity also states that 80 per cent of children are found within the first 24 hours of being reported missing and 90 per cent are found within two days, while two per cent are not found in the first week. For adults, the respective figures are 75 per cent, 85 per cent and five per cent.
