Yorkshire is set to experience more rain today as conditions are expected to remain about the same as on previous days.

Across West Yorkshire, most places will experience rain from around 11am to 5pm ,although Wakefield is only set to experience it between 1pm and 3pm. The temperature in Leeds and Wakefield will be 16 degrees while Bradford. Huddersfield and Halifax will be 15 degrees

South Yorkshire will experience rain in the early afternoon between 1pm and 3pm, while some areas may not see rain at all. Sheffield and Barnsley will see temperatures of 16 degrees while Doncaster and Rotherham will be 17 degrees.

North Yorkshire will also see rain starting around midday and continuing into the evening, later than in West Yorkshire. Skipton, Richmond, Ripon and Harrogate will be around 15 degrees while Malton, Scarborough, Northallerton and York will be 16 degrees.

The Met Office said: "Cloud building through the morning bringing some very patchy light rain.

"Bright spells later will be interspersed with a few blustery showers, mainly over western hills. Remaining windy. Maximum temperature 17 °C."
