Undergraduates of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) on Friday barricaded the Benin-Lagos expressway following an alleged altercation between the students of the institution and some military personnel.
The incident, according to eyewitnesses, happened on Thursday when the soldiers allegedly jumped the queue to withdraw cash but their actions was resisted by the students who had patiently queued on the line to carry out transactions.

It was further gathered that the brawl subsequently led to destruction of some vehicles by the military personnel within the school premises.
