Harry Souttar, Victor Kristiansen, and Tete all make their full Leicester City debuts as Brendan Rodgers picks an attacking line-up to face Aston Villa.

Souttar has overcome a hip problem to start following his deadline-day move from Stoke, while Tete makes his debut in a front three. Kristiansen, who made his debut last week at Walsall, makes his first start at left-back.

The trio are into the line-up as part of four changes, with Kelechi Iheanacho coming in for Patson Daka up front. It’s just the Nigerian’s second Premier League start of the campaign.

Also making way are Daniel Amartey, Luke Thomas, and Papy Mendy. That means Wout Faes partners Souttar at centre-back, while it’s an attacking midfield, with James Maddison, Youri Tielemans, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall forming the three.

On the bench, youngster Wanya Marcal-Madivadua, who can play on the wing or in attacking midfield, is included along with Jamie Vardy, who has recovered quickly from a glute injury. There’s no place for Amartey nor Jannik Vestergaard.

City (4-3-3): Ward; Castagne, Souttar, Faes, Kristiansen; Tielemans, Maddison, Dewsbury-Hall; Tete, Iheanacho, Barnes. Subs: Iversen, Soyuncu, Brunt, Thomas, Mendy, Praet, Marcal-Madivadua, Daka, Vardy.
