Kim Boutin and Steven Dubois claim World Cup golds in Dordrecht

Canadian duo Kim Boutin and Steven Dubois were victorious on Saturday. In the women's 1000m Boutin edged out Kristen Santos-Griswold to claim gold, with the American forced to settle for silver and Xandra Velzeboer taking a bronze medal for the home nation.

Kim Boutin and Steven Dubois made it a Canadian double while the Netherlands had plenty to cheer on home ice in short track World Cup action in Dordrecht.
In the women's 1000m Boutin edged out Kristen Santos-Griswold to claim gold, with the American forced to settle for silver and Xandra Velzeboer taking a bronze medal for the home nation.
Boutin sealed second place in the overall World Cup standings for the discipline, with Dutch star Suzanne Schulting comfortably claiming the Crystal Globe. Corinne Stoddard finished third overall.
Meanwhile, Dubois led a Canadian 1-2 in the men's race, with Pascal Dion coming home for silver and Latvia's Roberts Kruzbergs claiming a bronze medal.
Dion and Kruzbergs also sealed second and third in the overall standings for the discipline, with the Crystal Globe heading the way of Korea's Ji Won Park.
And there was more success for Canada in the mixed 2000m relay, though they had to settle for a silver medal as the hosts claimed gold.
The Dutch quartet of Itzhak de Laat, Schulting, Jens van 't Wout and Velzeboer claimed gold, with Poland finishing third to take the final spot in the podium.
Netherlands finished the World Cup season in second place, behind South Korea.
