Former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olabode George, has said that the will of Nigerians must be allowed to prevail.
George who cast his vote at polling unit 002, Ikoyi 1, Eti Osa, LGA, Lagos State, at 10.50am, said the election is a marked difference from what we used to do and that this time around, we must make sure that our votes count.
“When i came in, I cast my vote and everything was orderly. We have campaigned to Nigerians and we are pleading with them to vote properly. If they don’t vote wisely, they will suffer for the next four years. We have to get it right this time and the Independent Electoral

“I pray that the INEC chairman and the President will have the courage to say that this country should go well. No one is ruling forever. It is just a term of four years and after that, people will decide who to vote for.

“So far, we have not heard about much violence but it still early. There should be zero tolerance for violence so that this nation can move forward and the will of the people would be done,” he said.
