The Federal Capital Territory(FCT), commissioner of police, Sadik Abubakar, has toured Bwari Area Council to monitor the security situation in ongoing presidential elections in the area.

The commissioners accompanied by security personnel from the NSCDC, VIO and other security agencies visited some polling units at Dutse Alhaji, Bwari Central about ten polling units in the area council.

In one of the polling units visited the polling officers complained about the non availability of ink for voters to thumbprint and cast their votes.

The polling officers said they arrived the unit at about 8;30, but could not commenced the process because of shortage of ink. According to them the ones they were given is faint thereby making it difficult to appear brightly on the ballot papers.

They however said that they were able to contact the INEC office who sent in more inks with which they used to commence the process.
