Around 750 BVB fans came to Brackel on Tuesday afternoon to watch a training session involving head coach Edin Terzic and the members of the first-team squad who are not currently away on international duty. Also present was Mateu Morey, who was able to complete the entire session.

After the home win over 1. FC Köln on Saturday, Tuesday afternoon saw the Black & Yellows commence preparations for their next Bundesliga match, away to Bayern Munich on 1 April. The 90-minute training session took place without 12 international players, but did feature six young players. Ole Pohlmann, Falko Michel, Abdoulaye Kamara, Justin Njinmah and Antonios Papadopoulos of the U23s and Samuel Bamba of the U19s stepped up to complete head coach Edin Terzic's training group.

The training session started with some warm-up exercises as well as intensive sprints. Under the direction of assistant coach Armin Reutershahn, the team switched into a quick passing drill before the 13 outfield players competed in an open-play practice match. At first without any opportunity to score, then later on six mini-goals. Each goal was acknowledged with a hearty round of applause from the BVB fans in attendance. The two goalkeepers, Alexander Meyer and Luca Unbehaun, trained away from the group.

At the end of the session, it goes without saying that numerous autograph and selfie requests were fulfilled.
