Following defeat to Real Madrid, the goalscorer Rafa Mir recognised that "we have worked very hard for the whole 90 minutes. It's a shame to come away empty-handed, but they are a great team and whether you want to or not, it's hard to not have one eye on Wednesday's game. The fans have been brilliant with us the whole year, we have gone through some tough periods and they are always with us. We wanted to say goodbye with claiming some points but against a great side that was not possible. We gave our all even when we were down to ten, and we have shown how this team is united and works hard until the end. I think we will be confident and excited for the final. The trophy has to come home and we will work as hard as we can to achieve that."

Gonzalo Montiel assured that "we didn't get the result we wanted but we fought right until the end. With one less it was more difficult to cause any damage up-front, but we kept on trying. They had two chances and scored twice. They are very good players and they made the most of the chances they had. Tomorrow we have to change our mindset and look to the final. We are going to train and rest up so that we arrive in the best possible shape. Our message to the fans is to try and relax because we are going to give our all, we are going to win that title and I hope we are able to win it."

Papu Gómez was the last to speak: "They didn't create many chances, their goals came from our errors. We played well and were competitive, but these things happen. You think you are dominant and then they have a few opportunities and score. I am personally happy because the coach is giving me confidence with the minutes, and I want to pay him back by training well. I am also happy with Manu Bueno's debut. He played well and we congratulated him. Now to the final, a great chance to end a tiugh year with a trophy. It's what we all want and we will give our all to bring it home."
