Rimmer’s top job after race storm

At the end of last week, Ralph Rimmer was appointed as an independent adviser by the government to work on the future sustainability of rugby union eight months after being caught up in a race storm.
Rimmer, below, who left his role as CEO of the Rugby Football League at the end of last year, was accused of making an offensive remark against the Fijian national team at the RFL’s annual awards night.
