I questioned Steve Barclay on the NHS Workforce Plan when he introduced it to Parlaiment yesterday, highlighting the need to improve the low morale of current staff as a result of falling pay and worsening pressures.  

His response on providing greater flexibility is not enough when nearly 170,000 staff left the NHS last year – a record number. We need to address the crisis in morale to see real change.
