Skyway Aviation Handling Company appoints former FAAN director, Adenike Aboderin as MD

The Skyway Aviation Handling Company has announced the appointment of Adenike Aboderin as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective from Thursday, February 1.

Aboderin, a former Director of Finance and Accounts at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, takes over from Basil Agboarumi after the completion of his tenure.

In a corporate notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited and signed by the Company Secretary, Jesuyemisi Odeyemi, Aboderin is described as a seasoned finance professional with extensive executive leadership, financial, and management experience in both the private and public sectors.

The statement highlights Aboderin’s previous roles, including serving as the Director of Finance and Accounts at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria until December 2023, where she managed finance, accounts, credit control, and the budget directorate.

However, in the public sector, she worked as the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Ogun State on Trade and Investments, overseeing the state’s Economic Planning Department from 2011 to 2014.

Adenike Aboderin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos.

She is recognized as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, and an AMPAP Certified International Airport Professional.
