NEW DELHI: Star couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a baby boy, the India cricketer announced in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Virat and his actress wife Anushka, who got married in December 2017, welcomed their first child, Vamika, a couple of years ago.
In the social media post, Virat announced they welcomed their second child on February 15th.

Virat and Anushka have named their son Akaay.
"With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika's little brother into this world!
"We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude, Virat & Anushka," read Virat's post.

Virat had earlier opted out of the ongoing Test series against England, citing personal reasons.

The withdrawl led to several speculations but the Indian cricket board backed the star batter's decision.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that the former India skipper is not someone who would ask for leave for no reason.
"If a person, for the first time in a 15-year career, asks for personal leave, it's his right. Virat is not a player who will ask for leave for no reason. We need to trust our player and back him," Shah said.
Kohli, 35, had initially withdrawn from the first two Tests of the series but later it was announced that he will miss out on the entire five-match series.
India are leading the five-match series 2-1.
