Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon has had successful surgery to the meniscus in his right knee.
Spurs confirmed Solomon’s minor surgery in a statement on Wednesday morning.
The 24-year-old initially sustained the meniscus injury in training in October and has not played since. The Athletic reported at the time he was facing an extended period on the sidelines.

It is not clear yet when Solomon will return to action following his operation but Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou did speak about the Israel international’s recovery last week.
“Yeah, no real progress,” Postecoglou said. “He’s still in that position of not being really comfortable where he’s at.
“We’ll give him the time he needs to be in the palace where he can recover. The medical team is looking at some other strategies now.”

Asked whether Solomon could feature in Spurs’ 10 remaining matches this season, Postecoglou added: “I’m not really sure and I wouldn’t want to put that pressure on him. He’s had a tough time.
“Whenever players go through these periods, the important thing is not to try to put any firm deadlines or firm statements around it.
“(Rodrigo) Bentancur went through it when he overlapped two seasons. But these things happen. We’ve got Sess (Ryan Sessegnon) going through it.
“All you’ve got to do is help them along the way, support them and give them as much guidance as you can, and put them in the hands of the people who know best and just see what the outcomes are.”
Solomon joined Tottenham on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer, having spent last season on loan at Fulham. He played six times for Spurs before sustaining the knee injury.
“Lately, I’ve been away from social media and focusing solely on my rehab and getting back on the field,” Solomon said on Instagram on Tuesday.
“The last period has been the most difficult and frustrating in my career. In the past 5 months, I’ve been working as hard as possible to get back to doing what I love the most, but unfortunately, I haven’t fully recovered yet.
“At the same time, I’m full of motivation and will continue to do everything in order to be back stronger than ever to help my club & country.”
