Here’s hoping Sound Check will be an equalizer of various genres

Congratulations to the Globe for creating Sound Check (“Introducing Sound Check, our weekly go-to guide for music lovers,” Weekend, March 22).

I hope the column’s content will be expanded to include the rich array of classical and jazz events in the Boston area, which often suffer from scarce coverage.
