FC Barcelona Fans ‘Attack’ Paris Saint-Germain Hotel (VIDEO)

Following

FC Barcelona fans 'attacked' the hotel that Paris Saint-Germain is staying at in an attempt to disrupt their players' sleep on the eve of a mouthwatering Champions League quarterfinal second leg, as shown in footage uploaded online by El Chiringuito.

Barca fans waited for the PSG squad to arrive at the W W Hotel in their city on Monday afternoon.

As Luis Enrique's men got off an official coach, former Blaugrana star Ousmane Dembele was "insulted" by Culers as reported by numerous Spanish outlets.

The Frenchman can expect a frosty reception when Barca and PSG face off on Tuesday night in Europe, and not just for forcing his exit to PSG last summer when the Qatar-backed giants activated his release clause.

In the first leg at the Parc des Princes last week, Dembele celebrated a second half equalizer against his former club with vigor, in what was deemed to have been an act that lacked class for many fans.

At his prematch press conference, Xavi Hernandez said that the winger's exit "tasted bad" to him yet stressed he has nothing against Dembele.

When probed on how fans should treat him, however, the club legend seemed to leave the 26-year-old open to abuse by saying: "Let people show what they feel."

It has now become clear that some feel PSG shouldn't sleep well on the eve of the match, as highlighted in a clip by El Chiringuito uploaded to X at 02:44AM local time.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Culers are shown "throwing firecrackers" at the W Hotel, or rather letting off several loud fireworks off in its vicinity.

They are merely returning the favor, however, with PSG supporters doing the same to the Barca squad in the French capital in similar circumstances last week.

That was similarly reported as an "attack" on the Barca hotel, and came amid a PSG ultras group ordering matchgoing punters to create a hostile environment for Xavi's troops which had little to no effect in the end.

At the same presser, though, Xavi called on those lucky enough to have a ticket for the Montjuic Stadium to make Barca's temporary home into a "cauldron".
