Exciting youngster George Ilenikhena could be sold for as much as 40 Million Euros this summer as Antwerp need to sell their top players to balance their books.
The 18-year-old striker, who was born in Nigeria before his parents moved to France, is one of several key players the outgoing Belgian champions will have to sell soon to cushion their financial problems.
Antwerp money problems have reportedly caused the cooks working in the club cafeteria to quit even though the club denied this.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, Ilenikhena, who joined Antwerp last summer from French second division club Amiens for 6 Million Euros, is on the shopping list of several top clubs across Europe and he could now command a record transfer fee of between 30 and 40 Million Euros when the transfer window opens in June.
The big centre-forward has caught the eye with his goals in both league and cup games.
