Why celebrities, others must build relationship with God, by Stan Nze

Popular actor Stan Nze recently shared his perspective on the importance of celebrities maintaining a relationship with God, irrespective of their religious affiliations.

In a recent chat with The Nation, Nze emphasised that having a connection with one’s creator does not necessarily imply strict religious compliance.

He said “I think it’s very important and you don’t need to wait for things to happen or for you to be in situations, it’s a part of our daily lives. Apart from showbiz, generally, you can’t know what the manual of life would be if you’re not keyed to the person that owns the manual, it’s like living a wasteful life and I’m not saying you have to be a regular church goer but you can’t make impact without the creator.”

Speaking further, Nze noted the absence of genuine love among government officials as a primary reason for their inability to effect positive changes in the country.

“The reason that God has created us is so that we can be a blessing in our community and affect lives, he said that which you did not do to the least of your brothers you did not do to me and that’s what I believe, that’s my philosophy for life so I think it’s important for governance and everyone. Why is it so hard to get a governor or president that’s going to effect change? It’s because there’s no genuine love, everybody just wants to eat and go but if there’s real conscience, real Godliness in leadership there are things that you will naturally not do because you will understand that we came to this world with nothing and with nothing we would leave.”
