The statement reads: “As a native of Aiyegunle in Offa, I am committed to the progress, growth, and development of Lagelu, my hometown. That is why I refuse to remain neutral or passive; instead, I choose to be actively involved in the political system.

“Today, I stand in support of Kamorudeen. He brings fresh perspectives and ideas, and I believe he will contribute significantly to the development of Lagelu.”

Ola, who is also the founder of an NGO ‘Ola Inspire’ with the slogan ‘Ola wa adara’ (Our tomorrow will be better), urged residents to participate and vote in the forthcoming election in Lagelu, saying voting is not just a right but also an obligation and responsibility of every citizen.

He said: “I appeal to my fellow citizens in Lagelu LG, including fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters, to not only vote for Kamorudeen but also for Hon. Yekini Ola as the returning councilor in Ward 10, and for every other candidate.”

He urged OYSIEC to ensure a peaceful, transparent, free, and fair election, with adequate security measures to protect voters.
