Wilfred Ndidi scored one of the goals as Leicester City secured a 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at the King Power Stadium, on Saturday, in an English Championship fixture.

Ndidi put his name in the score sheet on the 22nd minute, to give the Foxes an early lead.

It was his third league goal of the season for Enzo Maresca’s side. He also has five assists for the former Premier League winners.

The home side’s advantage was extended when Jamie Vardy found the back of the net 25 minutes from full time.

Despite a late effort from West Brom’s Jed Wallace, who scored 14 minutes from time to reduce the deficit, Leicester City held on to claim a crucial victory.

Meanwhile, despite the defeat West Brom remain on track to secure a playoff spot.
