Beyoncé is putting rumors to rest and giving fans a rare glimpse of her natural hair in a new video promoting her Cécred haircare line. The pop superstar posted the video on Instagram in the early hours of Monday morning, slamming critics who questioned whether she actually uses the products herself.

“Being disruptive and challenging everything people feel should be the process has always been exciting to me. My hair and music seemed to do that a lot over the years,” Beyoncé wrote in the caption.

In the nearly two-minute video, the 32-time Grammy winner narrates as she takes viewers through her typical wash day routine while rocking her natural tresses. She directly addresses the misconception that “people who wear wigs don’t have long and healthy hair.”

“That’s some bulls–t because it ain’t nobody’s business,” Beyoncé playfully states before showcasing the health of her locks.

In the clip, Beyoncé candidly showcases her scalp and natural hair, dispelling any lingering doubts about the authenticity of her mane. The footage shows her commitment to transparency and authenticity, challenging misconceptions and stereotypes surrounding black hair and celebrity beauty standards.

“Maintaining 25 years of blonde on natural hair through all the experimenting I do has played a huge part in developing CÉCRED’s products,” Beyoncé revealed. “It’s the hardest to keep color-treated hair healthy and strong, but CÉCRED is here. All quality, with NO shortcuts.”

Throughout the video, she touts the efficacy of the Cécred products in maintaining her natural hair while styling it.

The video drew an enthusiastic response from the Beyhive, with fans praising Queen Bey for clapping back at her detractors. “She said ‘here y’all go. Now shut up!'” one commenter wrote, while another chimed in, “She REALLY SAID ‘now look around everybody on MUTE!'”

Released in February, the Cécred haircare line ranges from $20 to $52 for its various products. With this video, Beyoncé put any doubts to rest about being a consumer of her own brand while embracing her natural hair journey.
