A 21-year-old Denver man was arrested for child sex assault, human trafficking, soliciting child prostitution and other charges Wednesday by Larimer County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies arrested Ivan Banuelos Gandara on suspicion of human trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude, soliciting for child prostitution, sex assault on a child, enticement of a child, internet luring of a child, sexual exploitation of a child and drug-related crimes. All of the charges are felonies.

Deputies began investigating the case in February when a victim reported Gandara offered her cash and paraphernalia in exchange for sex with him and others, according to a news release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators believe there may be other victims in the case, and anyone with information can contact Investigator Marcus Simelane at 970-498-5515. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970-221-6868.

Gandara was released from the Larimer County Jail on a $75,000 bail and is set to appear in court Thursday, according to court records.
