Jude Bellingham wins Laureus' Breakthrough of the Year award
Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham says football authorities should consider "more extreme consequences" to tackle racism and has encouraged them to reach out to players to involve them in the conservation. Racism has been a growing problem in the sport in Spain in recent years, with his Real teammate Vinicius Jr often the target of abuse. Speaking with CNN's Amanda Davies after he collected his Breakthrough of the Year award at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid, Spain Bellingham also reflected on England's chances at this summer UEFA 2024 European Championships
