Popular television actress Rubina Dilaik embraced motherhood last year when she gave birth to her daughters Edhaa and Jeeva. While the actress is grateful for the two beautiful blessings, she has also opened up about the challenges women face when they become mothers, especially for the first time. On top of that, Rubina has two toddlers to take care of. She has earlier shared how she had her moments when she felt emotional, vulnerable, and exhausted with the changes. Recently, the actress revealed that after being strong enough and handling as much as she could, she finally took counseling to deal with postpartum depression. Rubina Dilaik opens up about seeking counseling to deal with postpartum depression

For these unaware, Rubina Dilaik has a digital show called 'Kisine Bataya Nahi: The Mamacado Show,' where she invites mostly all the new mothers to discuss how they have dealt with the changes after embracing motherhood. The show started when Rubina was expecting her kids, and now that they are born, Rubina has continued with the show as it has received immense love. Rubina's recent guest was television actress Pankhuri Awasthy Rode, who also gave birth to twins about a year back. As both the actresses had a lot in common to discuss, the entire episode is truly heartwarming. In the same conversation, Rubina revealed that when she gave birth to her daughter, she thought she was strong enough to handle everything. However, as time passed by, she realized that all the emotional changes and physical difficulties had taken a huge toll on her mental state, and that's when she decided to go for counseling before things got worse. She shared an incident of how one night she got so panicked while taking care of her daughter that her mother, in real, asked if she had gone mad. Rubina stated that she was so angry with herself for not being able to handle everything. Rubina mentioned that although her husband and entire family are very supportive, she still felt like no one was able to understand what she was going through, and hence she decided to opt for counseling.
