Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly enjoy a unique takeaway privilege that other royals don't. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to occasionally indulge in takeaways, with Indian and Chinese dishes being their favourites.

but unlike some Royal family members who have to pick up their food delivery from the Palace gates, William and Kate have it delivered straight to their door.

According to OK! magazine, the couple confirmed on BBC Radio 1's Scott Mills show in 2017 that they are "absolutely" allowed to order a takeaway. Their Royal status doesn't prevent them from enjoying such a treat.

During the interview, Kate revealed her favourite dish is a "curry, definitely," while William admitted he's "not so good with spice". He also shared that their meals are picked up for them, reports the Irish Mirror.

In a separate appearance on BBC Radio 5 Live's 'That Peter Crouch Podcast,' Prince William elaborated on his food preferences. He confessed that although he's not a fan of spicy food, he does enjoy a chicken masala occasionally as he is "not a vindaloo man".

As revealed on the Table Manners podcast, Princess Eugenie has shared her takeaway habits. "So last night we got a curry, which I never do," she confessed, adding: "I never eat them! [My husband Jack Brooksbank ] and I were literally sitting for an hour on Deliveroo, like what on Earth does this mean? ".

The cousin of Prince William, who shares two children with her husband, discussed the logistics of ordering food to the Palace. Eugenie revealed that they personally pick up their orders, stating: "We ring down and say, 'there's a Deliveroo coming', and then we'll get in our pyjamas and drive down and go pick it up."

Despite the potential inconvenience, Eugenie clarified that walking in her pyjamas wasn't her first choice. When questioned about why they don't just have deliveries straight to their door, she explained that that isn't an option for her and her family.

The Royal Family's fondness for takeaways doesn't stop with Eugenie. It's reported that Queen Camilla has a particular liking for fish and chips.

Furthermore, a former Royal butler once hinted that Princess Diana would occasionally treat her young sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, to McDonald's.
