Jack Schlossberg uses different accents to mock RFK Jr.’s presidential run

Paging Jack Schlossberg: Meryl Streep called and wants her accents back.

Caroline Kennedy’s son let loose on Instagram with a series of bizarre videos of himself affecting various accents while slamming his mother’s cousin — independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — at one point calling the elder Kennedy “a prick.”

In contrast, the 31-year-old graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School and the late President John F. Kennedy’s only grandson, repeatedly lavished praise on President Joe Biden.

“A lotta people talking about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.” he says in character as “Jimmy,” who sounds like a working class man from the Boston area.

“I’m a fan of his father and his uncle may he rest in peace. I remember the day he was killed. The whole country wept. It was a tragic day.”

“But listen that guy, the new guy, is a prick,” Schlossberg continues, referring to RFK Jr.

“He’s a friggin’ prick, he’s lying to you… He’s got Trump’s donors, he’s got Trump’s advisors, he and Trump go way freakin’ back. Don’t be fooled by that. Don’t throw away your vote. Vote for Biden! It’ll feel good. It’ll be fun. We’re gonna keep growing.”

Schlossberg tries on a Russian accent as well, accusing RFK Jr. of being good for Russia. In one of his vignettes he alludes to RFK Jr. being “pumped full of testosterone.”

The most bizarre in the sequence of seven videos is when Schlossberg plays a Long Island Jew with a nasal accent named “Joshua” and talks about how “everyone loves the Kennedys” and that “Caroline Kennedy actually married a Jewish man.”

Schlossberg’s father, 78-year-old artist and designer Ed Schlossberg, is Jewish.

Schlossberg ends his “Joshua” clip by complaining about RFK Jr.’s love of Bitcoin and turning abruptly to the camera and yelling, “who’s going to protect my MONEY?”

A number of RFK Jr.’s siblings have denounced his candidacy repeatedly.

Six of them appeared en masse at a Philadelphia rally for Biden in April, urging people to vote for the incumbent.

Not everyone was impressed with Schlossberg’s mimicry.

“How is your Boston accent somehow a mix of New Jersey Jewish grandmother and eccentric Rhode Island cat lady?” wrote one commenter.

Said another, referring to Schlossberg’s mother’s eccentric and reclusive cousin:

“Edie Beale has returned!”
