A grassroot politician and mobilizer, Comrade Clement Ebie has said that his late political leader, Chief Dr Cairo Ojougboh had no other political structure or group apart from Parliament.

Ebie made the disclosure on Sunday, May 5 at Agbor, Delta State.

He said that the clarification has become necessary as some persons in Agbor are going about deceiving members of the public with the name of a political group that was not known or recognized by Cairo Ojougboh before his demise.

According to Ebie, ” Parliament, is the only formidable and recognized political structure or group owned by our late political leader, Chief Dr Cairo Ojougboh. I’m bold to make this clarification because I’m the present Chairman of Parliament.

“All loyalists and followers of Cairo Ojougboh are members of Parliament. Parliament has been on for more than two decades and every grassroot politician in Ika Federal Constituency is aware of the fact, that apart from Parliament, Cairo Ojougboh had no other political or structure or group.”

He therefore, urged members of the public to disregard a recent online publication ascribing Cairo Ojougboh ‘s name to it.

He noted that the people behind the said online publication are impostors as there is no other political structure or group owned by Cairo Ojougboh except Parliament.

He described the said online publication as false and baseless. He advised that any call for a meeting by the unrecognized and self acclaimed Cairo Ojougboh structure or group should be rejected.

He used the medium to announce that members of the formidable Ojougboh group, Parliament will hold their enlarged meeting on Friday, May 10, 2024 in Agbor and urged all Parliamentarians to ensure they attend.
