‘The View’s Sunny Hostin Covers Her Face In Embarrassment As Whoopi Goldberg Asks If She’d Let Sherri Shepherd Date Her 21-Year-Old Son

Sunny Hostin has a hot son and she knows it. On this morning’s episode of The View, Joy Behar called out Hostin’s recent appearance on Sherri, where host Sherri Shepherd outwardly thirsted over her 21-year-old son.

What began as a conversation about The Idea of You stars Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine‘s age gap turned into one about Hostin’s hunky offspring, Gabriel.

“I was watching you on the Sherri Shepherd Show and she was like out of her mind for your son,” Behar said. “What the heck was that about? Alright, the kid’s hot, but really.”

In a still from Hostin’s chat with Shepherd, the latter gawked over a photo of a partially shirtless Gabriel, which, as Alyssa Farah Griffin pointed out, made him look like he was on Love Island.

“What kind of pictures did you pick, Sunny? That’s your son!” Sara Haines joked, to which Hostin replied, “I didn’t even pick those. Those were pictures of his 21st birthday when we were in Spain.”

A flustered Hostin put her head in the palm of her hand as she bashfully admitted, “I’m used to that with him … but yeah…” When Whoopi Goldberg asked if she’d be fine with Shepherd calling up Gabriel, Hostin shook her head no.

After all, Hostin already has Gabriel reserved for her co-host Ana Navarro (we’re kidding … kind of). During a November 2023 episode of The View, Hostin suggested that Navarro, who is happily married, could date her son if she were “younger.”

The chat started when Navarro told the group that she went swimming off the Panama coast on Seabobs, a type of diving scooter.

“I want one in every color for my bathtub! It’s like the best thing,” she said, to which Hostin chimed in, “If you were younger you really should date my son.”

But Navarro quickly quipped, “Sweetheart, your son might want an older woman!”
