As we all prepare for New York native artist Araya‘s release ‘ANGELCRY’ from his eight-track ‘Anime’ EP, the former FIT student teamed up with long-time collaborator Frankie Scoca (New Jeans, Druv, Dreamer Isioma) for the Hyperpop and R&B fusion. About the nuances of the heel-wearing crooner’s latest effort, “I’m pressing start in every game that you want me to play in. This song is an homage to the love I think I deserve. When I was writing it I wanted the words to feel sweet and hopeful because I was aiming to feel like that again. My comfort is video games, a nice crib, unlimited smoke and laughs, and company that would make an angel cry.”

In the middle of the month, the interdisciplinary act will bear his soul in front of a live audience at the Market Hotel in the Big Apple.
