Arsenal really want to buy £60m player and rotate him with Bukayo Saka

Arsenal have work to do this summer.

The north London club are almost the complete article, but there are a few missing pieces of the puzzle that need to be added before Arsenal can compete to win the Champions League.

Arsenal are looking for a new midfielder and a new striker, while they’re also keen to sign a right-sided player to compete with Bukayo Saka.

Speaking on KS1TV, Steve Kay has shared some insight into Arsenal’s transfer plans this summer, and he’s claimed that Michael Olise is a player that Arsenal would love to sign.

Arsenal would love to sign Michael Olise

Kay shared what he knows about the £60m Crystal Palace star.

“We still know that Bukayo Saka, we need somebody don’t we. We need a right-sided player. There’s a lot of talk of Olise. Olise wants to play in the Champions League which is a tick for Arsenal, but he also wants to be a starter,” Kay said.

“Olise for me, Arsenal love him there’s nothing more Arsenal would love than to buy him and to have that rotation with Saka, but it just doesn’t fit.”

Michael Olise may not fancy Arsenal

Michael Olise would be sensational in this Arsenal team, but it’s hard to imagine that the Palace star will fancy a move to the Emirates.

As Kay says, Olise wants to be a starter wherever he moves next, and understandably so, but if he joined Arsenal, he would have to share a lot of his gametime with Bukayo Saka.

This is the big issue Arsenal face when finding a new right-sided player, they need someone who is incredibly talented but also willing to play limited minutes behind Saka, and it’s not easy to find a player who’s that good who’ll be willing to accept starting on the bench most weeks.
