Shots fired at car at Sheetz on Cabela Drive in Garner

Garner police are investigating after shots were fired at a car at a Sheetz gas station near White Oak.

At 1:18 a.m. on Friday, police responded to a report of shots fired in the Sheetz parking lot on Cabela Drive. An officer confirmed that a car was hit by gunfire. No one was in the car at that time.

Police said no injuries have been reported.

Officers cleared the scene at 3 a.m. Police said they have not identified any suspect(s).

Sheetz employees closed the store during the investigation, according to police.
