Why 'Tiger King' Joe Exotic Is Sliding Into Khloe Kardashian's Latest Instagram Photo

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Tiger King star Joe Exotic is not holding back on social media and recently went to the comments of Khloe Kardashian's Instagram post.

"Looking prestigious. What did your sister say about helping the wrongfully incarcerated?" he wrote, alluding to Kim Kardashian's advocacy for criminal justice reform and exoneration efforts for those unjustly imprisoned.

Exotic gained widespread recognition following his appearance in the Netflix sensation Tiger King, but his notoriety stems from his conviction on two counts related to a murder-for-hire plot against Carole Baskin, as well as for his involvement in the illegal trade of tiger cubs and the killing of five tigers. He was handed a 22-year prison sentence on January 22, 2020.

Several users responded to his out-of-pocket comment on the Good American founder's Instagram. " leave these people alone 😂😂," one user wrote. Another said, "her sister doesn't care. I hope the correct lawyer finds you."

This isn't Exotic's initial plea for assistance from the Kardashian clan.

"Awwww cute, also please have your sister help me get out of this hell hole," he commented on Kourtney Kardashian's January Instagram photo featuring her and her newborn son, Rocky Thirteen.

This traces back to a letter Exotic penned to the Skims founder in December 2020. "I know you have never met me and may never want to, however, I do believe that you hold the values of our justice system dear to your heart," he wrote. "Please, help me by just taking 10 minutes out of your life and placing a call to President Trump to look at my 257-page pardon."
