Whether you’re cheering on from the Green Monster or glued to the TV from afar, the Red Sox have a packed schedule remaining in their quest for an MLB Playoffs birth. Below we’re providing the remaining Red Sox schedule and how to catch all the action on TV or via streaming.
Red Sox TV Options – Streaming
Here’s how people can watch Boston Red Sox games via streaming, depending on their location:
In-Market (Greater Boston Area):
NESN 360: This is the official streaming service for Red Sox games in the Greater Boston area. It offers all Red Sox games live and on-demand for the 2024 season, with some exceptions for national broadcasts. This is the best option for fans in the Boston area. You can subscribe directly through the NESN website or app for a monthly or seasonal fee.
Cable/Satellite TV Providers with NESN App: Some cable and satellite TV providers like Comcast or Verizon Fios might allow you to access the NESN app with a valid login for their service. This would grant access to live and on-demand Red Sox games (with some exceptions).
Out-of-Market (Outside Greater Boston Area):
MLB.TV: Major League Baseball’s streaming service allows you to watch out-of-market games, including the Red Sox. This is the best option for out-of-market fans. However, there will be blackout restrictions for Red Sox games if you’re located somewhere within their broadcast territory (Greater Boston Area).
Other Options:
While some live TV streaming services like Hulu + Live TV and FuboTV carry NESN, their availability can vary significantly depending on your location. Check to see if NESN is included in your service area before subscribing. There’s no guarantee it will be available for streaming, even if it’s part of your cable/satellite package. Lastly, the Red Sox will occasionally find themselves on Apple TV+ which is a stand-alone subscription service.

MLB Extra Innings: This package is an add-on to some streaming services and allows watching out-of-market games. However, it might not be necessary for out-of-market fans since MLB.TV already offers that functionality.

Here’s how people can watch Boston Red Sox games on TV, depending on their location:
In-Market (Greater Boston Area):
NESN (New England Sports Network): This is the official home of the Red Sox on television. You’ll need a cable or satellite TV subscription that includes NESN in your channel lineup. Providers like Comcast and Verizon Fios offer NESN in most areas of the Greater Boston Area.
Out-of-Market (Outside Greater Boston Area):
Occasionally, Red Sox games may be picked up by national networks like FOX, FS1, ESPN, MLB Network, or TBS. Check the TV listings for upcoming broadcasts. You’ll need a cable or satellite TV subscription that includes these channels. But most of the greater Boston area cable providers include these channels.
