Andre Ayew reached a milestone of 200 games in the French Ligue 1 following his recent outing for Le Havre on Friday night.

The 34-year-old actively participated in the entire match as his team suffered a 1-0 defeat against Nice, continuing their battle to remain in the top tier of French football.

Ayew's journey to 200 appearances in Ligue 1 spanned three clubs. He commenced his career at Olympique Marseille, had a temporary spell at Lorient, and returned to France in November 2023 with Le Havre.

During his time at Marseille, where he initiated his professional career, he amassed 160 appearances and netted 44 goals.

During his loan period at Lorient, Ayew featured in 22 Ligue 1 matches and scored three goals.

He departed France in 2015 before making a comeback last November to Le Havre, a newly-promoted side, where he has participated in 18 games thus far and scored five times.

Across his 200 appearances, Andre Ayew has notched a total of 52 goals and provided 19 assists.

His tally surpasses his father Abedi Pele's by two appearances, with Ayew also scoring ten more goals and providing five additional assists compared to his father's record.
