East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's golf team will begin play in the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional on Monday, May 13 at the Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Chapel Hill Regional is one of six regionals being held nationally, with 81 teams competing. The top five teams advance to the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, Calif.

"It's a great honor for our program to get the chance to play in an NCAA Regional and our guys are really looking forward to the opportunity to play against the best in the country," Head Coach Casey Lubahn said. "We've had a great spring season after a tough first couple of months and we hope that our best golf is right ahead of us. We have a lot of work to do but we have a veteran group that has been through this before and I think our guys are ready to get out there and show that we can compete among the best."
