Music legend Iggy Pop looked chilled out in Cannes this week as he paired a sparkly sequin blazer with a pair of platform open-toed sandals.
The Cannes Film Festival has been taking place this week, and film and music legends from across the entertainment industry have descended upon the coastal area of France to take part in interviews and viewings.
While many attendees dress to the nines for the various events, one music legend kept to his punk rock style as he rocked up in very casual attire.
The Passenger singer, 77, stuck to his classic style and opted to dress without a shirt, as he faced the warm weather in the South of France in an entirely black look.
The three-time Grammy-winner wore a thick silver chain around his neck and a pair of wedge sandals that gave him a little added height and showed his casual style as fans got a good look at all of his toes.
Attending a panel, Iggy, known as the Godfather of Punk, joined fellow musician Troye Sivan and drag queen Nicky Doll to participate in an exclusive live listening party.
With their contrasting colours, the trio looked like they were all ready to attend different events.
Nicky dressed in a bubblegum pink mini-dress with light pink stilettos, and Troye wore a grey knitted sleeveless cardigan and trainers.
Iggy, real name James Newell Osterberg, attended Cannes back in 2016 and made headlines for slamming the modern music industry.
‘The digital age has made collecting money so incredibly efficient. When we started our band we didn’t know what publishing was. Now you can push a button and get rich quick.’
He then added: ‘It might get to the point where it’s going to grip everybody by the shoulders and shake us and then throw us down and get rid of us.’
‘Throwing an amp into the spirit of man,’ he then joked per The Guardian: ‘It’s like: woah, you know! Why don’t I just die now.’
Fortunately, he seemed to be in a better mood at the festival today as he was snapped laughing and having fun during the panel.
