The New York Liberty spoiled Caitlin Clark's home debut, taking down the Indiana Fever, 102-66, in front of a sellout crowd of over 17,000 fans.

Clark had nine points, seven rebounds and six assists while shooting 2-for-8 from the field and 1-for-7 from 3-point range. No one on the Fever roster scored more than 12 points, as Indiana failed to crack New York's staunch defense. Clark also amassed five fouls in the loss, indicative of her early struggles at the professional level.

Breanna Stewart led the wake-up call with a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds, and Jonquel Jones also had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. New York shot 46.2 percent from the field and benefited from 22 points off the bench.

Now at 0-2 and 2-0, respectively, Indiana and New York face off once again, this time at the Barclays Center. Whether Clark will be able to quickly adjust to the pace and intensity of the WNBA is still to be determined, but it won't be easy against a team with a stacked roster like the Liberty.
