Twitch streamer AriatHome meets a fan (Twitch)

A police officer in New York stream-sniped Twitch creator AriAtHome to say hello and reveal that he’s actually a follower of the channel.

The music category on Twitch is mostly filled with content creators who play an instrument or sing in front of the camera, in their own home, but AriAtHome has put his own twist on the genre.

He’s often seen walking the streets of New York equipped with a keyboard, a mixer panel, and a microphone that he lets people use to sing over his beats.

During a recent stream AriAtHome was approached by a police officer, but was left shocked when the officer just wanted to say that he’s a fan, instead of telling him to move.

The police officer told the streamer that he was in fact a follower of his Twitch channel, and that he saw that he was streaming nearby, so he thought he’d come by and say hello.

Ecstatic that he wasn’t getting told to move on, AriatHome, said:

‘Nice to meet you, bro. They were tagging me, like, ‘Yo, there are cops behind you.’

The officer told AriAtHome that he was fine and introduced himself with his name and Twitch handle, and AriAtHome gladly said he’ll look out for him in his chat.

It’s not uncommon for AriAtHome to be stopped by curious pedestrians or fans in New York, as his music and sizeable amount of equipment are hard to miss.

This seems to be the first time he’s been met by a police officer who was a fan of his antics though. Although how the officer knew AriAtHome was on that particular street, at that time, he didn’t say.

It seems likely he was watching Twitch on the job and essentially stream-sniped AriaAtHome to work out where he was.
