Bernardo Silva makes Man City transfer decision – sources

Man City star man Bernardo Silva is ready for a new challenge and is keen to move abroad this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed French giants Paris Saint-Germain are once again pushing to land the 29-year-old in the off-season.

PSG are firing up a major recruitment drive with Kylian Mbappe leaving the club on a free transfer, and have identified Silva as a top target.

Speculation about the Portugal international quitting City has been rife in the past few years – but he signed a new three-year deal at the Etihad Stadium last summer (2023).

Nevertheless, Silva is now keen to move on after winning his sixth Premier League title in seven years since joining from Monaco.

He has also won the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup during his time in England.

Silva turned out 48 times across all competitions in the 2023-24 campaign, starting in 42 of those outings.

He hit 11 goals and registered 10 assists for Guardiola’s side.

There are also question marks over the future of Kevin de Bruyne at Man City, who has just one year left to run on his contract at the club.
