CHAPPELL HILL 5TH ANNUAL ART WALK BEING HELD SATURDAY

  

The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce is preparing for this weekend’s 5^th Annual Main Street Chappell Hill Art Walk.

The Art Walk is this Saturday from 10am-4pm in downtown Chappell Hill.

Over 20 artists will be taking part in the event with the working areas being set up at various locations along Main Street.

Visitors can watch the artists create their masterpieces from scratch, and then at the end of the day, they can vote for their favorite artist.

Some of the artwork is also going to be available for purchase.

According to Dale Ramey, one of the newer attractions this year, is sculptor Ruth Wilson, who is going to have some of her sculptures and bronzes on display.

In addition to viewing the works of art, visitors are invited to shop the local businesses and dine in the local restaurants.

There is no admission fee for the Art Walk.

Ramey said that they recommend parking along the side streets. The streets will be open, and there will be crosswalks with security directing traffic.
