Stanislav Lobotka has been a key player for Napoli in the past few seasons and his performances have attracted the attention of Manchester United.

The Slovakia international could lay his hands on yet another Serie A title this season and the Italian giants can now capitalise on his potential sale.

Tuttomercatoweb have reported today that the midfielder can be sold due to his age and that this summer can be Napoli’s last chance to earn a major amount from his exit.

The 30-year-old’s current contract runs out in the summer of 2027 and he will turn 31 in November. Antonio Conte’s side believe that his value will only decline after that and this has attracted interest from Manchester United.

The Red Devils have ‘expressed their desire’ to hold talks for the player, who also interests Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona have also made multiple attempts to land the Slovakian in the past few seasons.

As of now, Manchester United would have to pay a fee of €40m to land Lobotka, who earns €3.5m per season right now. Napoli would likely want to use that to sign a younger player and replace the outgoing title winner.
