ICYMI: DNC Launches Daily Blueprint, a New Messaging Broadcast to Highlight Democrats’ Wins and Counter Trump’s Lies

This week, the DNC launched its first-ever live daily messaging broadcast program, the Daily Blueprint: a rundown of everything viewers should be paying attention to during the day and how they can get involved in the fight.

The Daily Blueprint hit the ground running in its first week, highlighting the strong and immediate support from Democrats following the assault on Senator Alex Padilla, down-ballot Democratic wins in Florida and Oklahoma, and the potential dangerous impacts of Trump’s budget bill on working families. We also had our first guest on the show, Democratic Governors Association External Affairs Director Ofirah Yheskel, to talk about Mikie Sherrill, the Democratic nominee for New Jersey’s governor’s race.

The Daily Blueprint is the latest effort from the DNC’s revitalized War Room, which aims to expand Democrats’ reach into new information spaces, modernize our rapid response operation, leverage creative opposition tactics to put Republicans on the back foot, and combat the lies from the right.

You can watch this week’s episodes of the Daily Blueprint here.

Here’s what people are saying about the launch of the Daily Blueprint…

Parade: Scoop: Democratic Party Launches Daily Show Aimed at Donald Trump

Key Point: “DNC Deputy Communications Director Hannah Muldavin, who hosted the debut episode on Monday, June 9, added that the show is ‘nothing like the Democratic Party has ever seen before, and that’s by design.’ New episodes will air each weekday on YouTube at 10 a.m. ET and are part of the DNC’s broader War Room efforts to challenge Trump and mobilize supporters.”

National Journal: “Hannah Muldavin, deputy communications director and host of The Daily Blueprint, said the show aims to call viewers to action and cut through the noise of the Trump administration.

“‘This show is for everybody,’ Muldavin told National Journal shortly after taping an episode. ‘We’re talking about what’s happening that might not be getting coverage, and giving viewers a way to take action.’”

Ofirah Yheskel on X: great way to start the day, thanks for having me @HannahMuldavin ☀️

Ahmad Ali on X: This is how it’s done. We have to solve for our concentric media and political challenges.

@TheDemocrats launching this daily newscast and zeroing in on Trump’s budget is doing exactly that.

Matt Royer on LinkedIn: Honestly, I love that the DNC is putting this out every day on the widest reaching platform there is, YouTube.

People have been saying that they want the Democrats to talk more about what they’re doing to the general public and what better place to do it in such an easy way to access.

YouTube has 122 million active users a day and it is the easiest place to stream long form content for all demographics. This is a great tactic for anyone to take and glad we are capitalizing on media trends here.
