HERE is a wonderful picture featuring altar boys of a bygone era from the former Twelve Apostles Roman Catholic Church in Leigh.
The photograph was taken during a Walking Day from the church, which closed two years ago.
The date of the picture is not known, according to archive records.
In late 2019 the Archdiocese of Liverpool made the decision to close the Twelve Apostles RC Church.
