Delivery men go above and beyond this Christmas season in Mt. Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — Two delivery men went above and beyond on Christmas Eve, according to one Mt. Pleasant woman.

Erica Kozma said, when she saw two people dropping off a large package at 1 a.m., she watched on her surveillance camera.

"At first it scared me because I saw two men on the porch," she said.

Thinking the worst, she kept watching.

"Then I quickly realized they were carrying our giant packages at 1:15 a.m.," Kozma recalled.

The men even went as far as to tip-toe on the front porch so they didn't wake the family.

"On top of it all he bumped into one of my little Christmas gnomes outside and there he is on the camera readjusting the gnome to fix it," she said.

Kozma was blown away because they ]delivered her king size bed on Christmas Eve, a whole week early.

Erica made some calls to try and find the guys.

"I tried to call Home Depot and get the names of the two delivery men but unfortunately, since it is the holidays, that department is closed today that would have that information," said Kozma.

So, she posted about her experience to Facebook and learned other neighbors experienced the same thing.

"I posted it online on a Mt. Pleasant mom’s page and already over 225 people have liked the post," Kozma added.

Erica said it's her mission to find these men and thank them for her Christmas miracle.

"It’s also a reminder that we need to be that. We all need to be appreciative of these delivery men and everyone working this holiday season." Kozma said she plans on raising money so she can buy the guys a gift.
