DETECTIVES want to speak to a woman after cards were stolen from a pensioner out in Warrington town centre.
Shortly after 1pm on Tuesday, March 1 an elderly woman had her purse stolen while out in town.
The purse contained a bank card and cash and was used to make withdrawals of approximately £300.
There were also other attempts to purchase train tickets at Warrington Bank Quay station.
PC Graham Davies, of Warrington Beat Team, said: “We have started following numerous enquiries and are appealing to the public for information.
“If you recognise the woman in the photo please do contact us. I would also like to appeal directly to the woman in the CCTV image to get in touch as she could have information that would assist with our investigation.”
