Premier Heger meets Icelandic president to discuss geothermal energy

Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OLANO) met Icelandic President Gudni Thorlacius Johannesson at the Government Office on Thursday, TASR learnt from the Government Office's press and information department. The premier and the Icelandic president discussed the use of renewable resources and geothermal energy. "Iceland is the world leader in the use of geothermal energy for heating. We don't use our geothermal resources to such an extent, that's why you are an example for us, but also a challenge," said Heger.
