The First Czechoslovak Republic was a state guaranteeing a broad range of rights, freedom for all as well as women's suffrage, Prime Minister Eduard Heger noted on Friday on the 104th anniversary of the creation of the republic on T. G. Masaryk Square in Bratislava, where he laid a wreath at the Czechoslovak Statehood Memorial. The premier praised the good relations between Slovakia and the Czech Republic. "Our mutual relations are truly fraternal, they are unique, exceptional and, dare I say, getting stronger every year," he said. Czech Ambassador to Slovakia Tomas Tuhy expressed his appreciation for the fact that Bratislava has set up T.G. Masaryk Square, thanking the Slovak premier for attending the commemoration of this event every year.
